Disney Treasure – Day 1 Trip Report
This is our first time sailing on this ship, and we couldn’t wait to explore everything it has to offer. We kicked things off with lunch at Plaza de Coco.
Afterward, we grabbed a drink at Skipper Society. Same great jokes and humor as Jungle Cruise.
The afternoon was spent exploring the ship, so many new spaces we need to explore.
For dinner, we experienced Prima Notte at Palo. This special event included a wine tasting and a chef-led food pairing. Every bite and sip was perfectly curated, making for an unforgettable dining experience. Later, we returned to Plaza de Coco for dinner.
After dinner, we decided to call it an early night to recharge for the exciting day ahead.
Day 2 on the Disney Treasure!
We started the day with brunch at Enchanté, and wow…what an experience!
Five courses (plus surprise courses!) over two hours of pure culinary magic. 🍴
Highlights? We tried sea urchin, gnocchi, halibut, and even wagu beef. Every bite was better than the last. 🥂
After that, we needed to rest and relax, so we headed to the Rainforest Room. Next, we did a ship tour and learned some cool details about the design. Did you know there’s a moss art piece onboard, and it’s alive? 🌱🖼️
The evening brought some adventure with a stop at Sarabi Supper Club for the Indiana Jones Choose Your Own Adventure show. 🏺🗺️ The improv talent was off the charts, and the audience interaction made it a total blast. The Wish and Treaure have taken the level of talent up a notch. One of our favorite things about the new ships.
We wrapped up the night with dinner at 1923, enjoying another delicious meal before calling it a day. 🍷🍽️
Disney Treasure – Day 3: Cozumel Adventures!
🌴🐝🍫 Today, we docked in Cozumel, and what a sight—Disney’s first ship, the Disney Magic, was parked right next to the newest, the Disney Treasure! Seeing them side by side was a cool contrast between where Disney Cruise Line started and where it’s going.
For our excursion, we visited a local bee farm and learned all about honey production on the island. The tour was amazing—lots of hands-on activities, and did you know that Cozumel is home to a species of stingless bees? 🐝 We also ground cacao seeds to make chocolate powder and even got to make our own salsa—so fresh and flavorful! 🌶️🍫
After the tour, we headed up to Deck 12 for lunch. The poolside food spots on the Treasure are fantastic! I went for BBQ—ribs, pulled pork, mac & cheese, and cornbread.🔥🍖 Next up, we grabbed a drink at the Haunted Mansion Parlor 👻🍸—hands down the most immersive lounge we’ve seen at sea. You feel like you’re inside the mansion! The drinks were on the sweeter side for our taste, but the effects and decor pulled straight from the attraction were top-notch.
After that, we stopped by Hook’s Barbery for an Old Fashioned. 🥃 This place is a hidden gem with an incredible bourbon selection and true craft cocktails. Definitely a must-visit for whiskey lovers!
Dinner was at World of Marvel, where we got a special demonstration from Ant-Man and The Wasp—a super fun (and super science-y!) way to end the night. 🦸♂️🔬
Oldest and the newest! Disney Magic was the first ship for Disney in 1998. The Disney Treasure set sail in December 2024.
Day 4 on the Disney Treasure – Grand Cayman
Today, we anchored off the shore of Grand Cayman, but we decided to stay onboard and take full advantage of everything the Disney Treasure has to offer!
We started our morning with a leisurely breakfast at Marceline Market before heading to the Rainforest Room for some relaxation. The hot tubs were the perfect way to unwind, followed by some quiet reading on the spa beds.
In the afternoon, we joined a mixology class at Scat Cat Lounge. It was a fun, hands-on experience where we got to make (and taste!) our own cocktails, plus sample a few other creative drinks.
Dinner was at Palo Steakhouse, and as always, the food and service were top-notch. The highlight? Chocolate soufflé—a must-have every time!
We headed up to deck for the Pirate Party and fireworks. The Treasure’s version is different—no Disney characters this time. Instead, a live band rocked out to ‘80s classics including KISS, Bon Jovi and Queen.

Day 5 on the Disney Treasure – Jamaica & Broadway Magic
Today, we docked in Jamaica!
After breakfast at Marceline Market, we stepped off the ship for some shopping at the port, browsing local crafts and souvenirs.
Back on board, we headed to the Rainforest Spa for a relaxing afternoon of reading.
Next was Villains Game Show, a fun twist on Tic-Tac-Toe featuring Disney’s most mischievous characters. Then, we joined the Jungle Cruise interactive game in the Grand Hall, which brought the spirit of the classic attraction to life in a playful, adventurous way.
Later, we stopped by Hook’s Barbery for a drink and took a closer look at their impressive whiskey collection, which includes rare bottles dating back to the Prohibition era.
The highlight of the night was the Broadway Stars at Sea show, featuring Susan Egan (the original Broadway Belle and the voice of Megara in Hercules) and Adam Levy. Their performances were absolutely incredible, bringing classic Disney songs to life with Broadway-level talent.
After the show, we returned to the Grand Hall to watch Vitriphonics again—Disney Cruise Line’s live entertainment talent is truly next-level. We ended the night with dinner at 1923, enjoying another fantastic meal in the elegant, Hollywood-inspired setting.
Disney Treasure – Day 6: A Relaxing Day at Sea
There’s nothing quite like a sea day to slow down, unwind, and soak in everything a Disney cruise has to offer. We always love a good day at sea, and today was no exception! We kicked off the morning with breakfast at Marceline Market.
After that, I headed back to the Rainforest Room for some more relaxation. After some downtime, I took the opportunity to explore and photograph more of the ship. The Disney Treasure has so many incredible details and design elements, and I’ll be sharing more of those photos soon!
Later, we attended a magic demonstration, where we not only watched some great tricks but also learned how to perform a few ourselves.
In the evening, we saw the 18+ show of Susan Egan (the original Broadway Belle and the voice of Megara in Hercules) and Adam Levy. Then watched the Beauty and the Beast stage show, which is my favorite show on Disney Cruise Line!
Dinner was at World of Marvel, an interactive dining experience that kept us engaged with trivia questions throughout the meal. To wrap up the night, I headed up to Cove Café for a Reserve Whiskey tasting. This was a special experience, getting to sample some higher-end whiskeys from around the world. (and no Blanton’s was not one of the whiskeys we tried)
Disney Treasure – Day 7: Castaway Cay & Final Night at Sea
Our last full day onboard the Disney Treasure was spent in pure paradise—Castaway Cay. This private island is always a highlight of any Disney Cruise! I started the day early with the Castaway Cay 5K. My first time doing the 5K! Today was extra special—I also ran a virtual 5K for Cathie’s Memories nonprofit, making the run even more meaningful.
After the race, I met up with Kelli, and we found the perfect spot to relax. We pulled some chairs down to the water’s edge and just soaked in the sun, sand, and scenery. The water was a little too chilly for us to fully dive in, but it was still an incredibly peaceful way to enjoy Castaway Cay.
After a relaxing morning, we made our way over to Pelican Point for some frozen drinks—the perfect way to cool off and enjoy the island vibes. Lunch at Cookie’s Too was, as always, a great meal. Classic BBQ fare like hamburgers, hot dogs, BBQ chicken, and all the delicious sides made for a satisfying island lunch.
Back onboard, we took advantage of the nearly empty ship—a perfect opportunity to get some more time in the Rainforest Room. After nearly 18,000 steps for the day, a good hot tub soak was much needed!
The evening was packed with incredible entertainment, starting with Disney Cruise Line’s newest production: Moana. This brand-new show is exclusive to the Treasure, and it was fantastic! It might even become my favorite Disney Cruise Line show. While there are still a few technical tweaks to work out, the sets were absolutely stunning, and it’s amazing to think that this level of production happens on a moving ship!
Dinner was at Plaza de Coco, where the show tonight was themed around Día de los Muertos. The performers were outstanding, and the energy in the room was so much fun. One of the most magical moments happened when Héctor noticed a young boy dressed as Miguel from Coco. Without hesitation, he stepped out of the show to give the boy a hug and pose for a quick photo. It was a small moment, but you could tell it absolutely made that family’s night—maybe even their whole trip. This is why we keep coming back to Disney Cruise Line. The cast and crew make the experience truly magical. Their ability to create these special moments—the kind that people will remember forever—is what makes Disney so special.
Can’t wait for our next adventure on the Disney Treasure!
